A POD (Point of Distribution) exercise with the Texas State Guard will test their readiness to set up and distribute needed items to our citizens following a disaster. We are looking for 300 people to come to Bayshore Park in Bacliff/San Leon to stress the system through large numbers and chaos. CLEAR LAKE FOOD PANTRY

Two small groups are needed to serve on Sat, Feb 6th. The food pantry will be receiving food donations from a Souper Bowl of Caring event hosted by local Boy Scouts. The pantry needs workers to help sort the donations after the scouts drop them off. (Group 1: 10:30 am -12:30 pm; Group 2: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm) Contact: Tiffany Granderson, go@clearcreek.org

CLEAR LAKE INTERMEDIATE

THE CENTER FOR PREGNANCY

Decorate a Classroom // The Center for Pregnancy is looking for a small group that would be interested in helping us decorate and redo one of our classrooms. We need help getting our room ready for some new classes we are offering for our clients – we want to offer a space that is warm, welcoming and inviting.

Prayer Team // The Center for Pregnancy is looking for people to join our prayer team. We send out email updates and meet once a week to pray over the Center and the clients.

The Galveston County Food Bank is in need of volunteers to assist clients in our Client Choice Food Mart located at 624 4th Ave. North in Texas City. The food mart is similar to a grocery store. Egret Bay & West Campus Student Ministries are taking a mission trip to Haiti, June 15-22. Let’s mobilize 3 Egret Bay small groups to adopt this mission team of 40 students & adults.

If you commit to adopting a mission team, you will be responsible for doing the following for approximately 10 people: write a prayer card for each person, provide a snack bag for their travel day, provide/serve a meal and pray with team at their packing party (June 12), invite mission team members to visit your group and share about their upcoming mission.
