“Celebrate Moms” Event

The Center for Pregnancy is in need of small groups that would like to help us host our annual “Celebrate Moms” event. Every year around Mother’s Day, we a day of pampering and fun for our clients – to remind them that we love them and their babies! We need small groups that can set up a craft station, provide pedicures, set up food and decorations, and interact with the clients. We need people with specific skills in hair styling, makeup, massages and painting nails. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jenna Kraft at jennaruth17@gmail.com.

Host a Lunch

The Center for Pregnancy is in need of small groups that would like to host a lunch at our facility. We will offer a free lunch to our clients and invite them to come for a time of fellowship and building relationships with people in the church. We need the group to provide lunch and snacks for approximately 20 people, please feel free to contact Jenna Kraft at jennaruth17@gmail.com, if you have any questions.

GOOD NEIGHBORS // All Campuses

Good Neighbors is in need of small groups to serve along side us in the community at Rancho del Rey.  Come be the hands and feet of Christ with us.  First and third Saturdays from 10:30 to noon, we deliver groceries, clothing, household goods, breakfast,  the Gospel and friendship to under resourced families right here in our back yard.  We share coffee, juice, pastries, children’s ministry and prayer time with our neighbors who may be struggling outside the margin.  For more information,  or to sign your group  up for a serve day, contact Renee Lafont at reneelafont@gmail.com.

Go-Ops | March 2016


BAHFH will be hosting the annual Women 5k Run/Walk on April 2, 2016, 9 am at Walter Hall Park in League City. This event will be a fun family oriented event with food trucks, bouncy houses, vendors and much more to entertain everyone. All participants will receive a goodie bag.  All proceeds go to fund the Women’s Build house in La Porte. Individual walkers who raise over $1000 will get a pink toolkit! Sponsorship level for teams (max 15 people) are $5000 for Diamond level, $2500 for Gold level and $1000 for Silver level.  On-line registration will be available at www.bahfh.org/women-build after Feb 29 and individual walkers will be $35. It is time to gear up for the STAAR Test! Volunteers with a science background and/or an interest in science are needed to help prepare students. Curriculum and lunch provided. Sign-ups are for every Friday in April during lunch. You can pick one or all Fridays and one or all lunch periods (11:55-12:25pm, 12:27-12:57pm or 1-1:30pm). Any help is appreciated! League City has contacted us with a need from the community. There is an elderly citizen who is no longer able to mow his ditch, and needs someone to go out there and mow it. The citizen also needs help with holes in his roof. If you or your small group can help within the next couple of weeks, please e-mail go@clearcreek.org ASAP for contact information.


LCM’s Annual Celebration is coming up on Saturday, April 23 at 6pm at Hometown Heroes Park.  Volunteers for set-up and tear-down are needed. Contact: Erika Steele, erika@lighthousecm.org
