ORPHAN CARE SUPPORT
What: Foster Parent Night Out
When: Saturday, December 15th 2:45-7:00pm
Where: Kiddie Academy West in League City
Join us as we serve the foster families within Clear Creek Community Church for our last Foster Parent Night Out of the year. We host foster children (and their siblings) from birth to 12 years old once a month at a local daycare. Finding childcare for foster families can prove to be difficult, so this allows foster parents to have some (much-needed) time to themselves. Especially at Christmas time, this will allow foster parents time to do some Christmas shopping, present wrapping, or just a minute to relax!
Kiddie Academy provides staff for each room, but we supply the volunteers! This is a great way for these kids to have another positive influence in their lives. Most days it is hard to tell who is having more fun- the kids or the volunteers! We have kids from ALL campuses attend this event monthly! Great Go-Op for small groups and/or individuals looking to show love to the orphans in our community. You are welcome to bring fun Christmas crafts for the kids to do if you’d like!
Background check is required by the church. If interested, contact Cari and she will get you signed up.
Not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but everyone can do something. Could this be YOUR “something?”
