THE LUKE SOCIETY
The Luke Society is a free medical clinic for the homeless on Saturdays, operating since 1995 in the same parking lot as Galveston Street Ministry. Along with the medicine given to patients, Bibles and devotionals are also distributed. While some of the patients find it hard to read the Bibles, they love getting the easy-to-read devotionals. Please consider donating your outdated devotionals to the homeless clients instead of throwing them away. There are three drop-off locations; a container will be by the front door. The addresses are:
518 White Oak Pointe
1008 Broad Bay Lane
2026 Cutter Drive
If you are not able to drop them off, please contact Michele who will make other arrangements.
