Houston welcomes refugees (HWR) strives to ease the resettlement process for refugees coming to Houston by mobilizing invested, caring volunteers. As followers of Jesus, we believe it is our job to love those who come to our city out of the overflow of love we receive from Christ. Our model is holistic and intended to empower rather than enable the families we serve. The best way we can serve HWR from CCCC is to donate Welcome Kits. These kits contain various household items that a new arriving family will need to set up a home. We are looking for groups interested in putting together kits from time-to-time. Contact me via email for details.
