We are continuing to serve our Good Neighbors at Rancho del Rey and Town Village mobile home parks through “Ministry by Mail.” Each week that would be a serve week during non-pandemic times, we are writing a note of encouragement, prayer, and scripture, along with ten dollars towards their grocery needs, and mailing to families of the regular attenders of our Bible Study and Grocery Pick up. If you would like to participate in this effort by supporting one family (or more) from the neighborhood, please reach out and we will provide you with the name and address of a family to walk beside.

LIGHTHOUSE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
Opportunity 1: We will begin serving soup at the Lighthouse on Tuesdays, from 11am to 2pm. We need small groups who would be willing to…
1. Cook a large pot of soup, serve it to people in need at the Lighthouse and clean up afterwards, all the while observing COVID safety measures.
2. This can also be done by 2 separate groups; one to cook and one to serve.
3. This can be done by the same groups every week or a different group every week, but we would love to have small groups take ownership of it. i.e. the same group serving every 1st Tuesday, 2nd, 3rd, etc.
Opportunity 2: We have a recurring Food Distribution at KE Little Elementary on the 4th Saturday of every month. This typically requires 10-12 volunteers. The volunteers divide bulk produce and rebox for each family, then load the boxes into each vehicle as they drive through, clean up and remove trash when done. This typically lasts from 8 until 10:30am. We are looking for a small group or 2, who would be willing to take ownership of this, but individual volunteers are also welcome.
Opportunity 3: Assist Program Director in planning and implimentation of year round youth outreach in the neighborhoods of Bacliff, Bayview and San Leon. This includes fall festivals, Light Up The Night Halloween event, Holiday deliveries and small get togethers
Opportunity 4: We are looking for a small group who might be interested in volunteering in our resale shop (2 or 3 people at a time) a few days a week. We need people to sort, price and put out donations to be sold, pull empty close hangers and sale items, work the cash register and assist customers.

4B DISASTER RESPONSE NETWORK
Three years out from Harvey, we still send teams into the community Tuesday through Saturday to rebuild homes impacted by that hurricane. However, since the Winter Storm last month, we have also been working in homes impacted by the cold.
We meet at the 4B Warehouse at 144 Park Avenue (the League City Public Works building) at 8 a.m. for prayer and instructions and then go out on assignment. There is a job for everyone – no construction experience is necessary, just a willingness to help our community. To register please go to our website.
